Every once in awhile we get a glimpse of the way things should be.  This past week several churches in our community came together to just serve and care for our community.  These churches do not see eye to eye on all aspects of theology or ministry philosophy.  But they all love Jesus and they all love our city.  And because of what we hold in common, the differences are put aside, and we unite to make a difference together.  I think it is a snap shot of what the world should see more often.  For just a moment the world sees the church being the church.  And seeing this happen makes me smile.  Great job to all of the churches involved.  It is cool that our church can be a part of something like this.
