I do not think that churches should babysit kids. I am not a believer that children’s ministry or youth ministry are just for keeping kids busy and/ or out of trouble. I believe that the goal of student ministries (as it comes along side parenting) is to put an anchor of Jesus into the hearts of children so that they can only drift so far from the gospel as they navigate through life. Watch this and see a way you can help with this anchoring process.

What happens next? I emailed the church office some time ago and haven’t heard a thing. That’s a bit disappointing .,,
The ministry leader should be contacting you about your willingness to pray. If you have not heard from him or her, hopefully you will soon. The ministry leaders have been given the names of those who have expressed interest by the office staff and it each was responsible to touch base. That is disappointing to me as well and I am trusting it will soon be remedied.
