You have the privilege of impacting and shaping the people that are around you.  I think about how effective I am at this quite a bit.  What do I convey to those who see me on a regular basis (or even the folks who just see me periodically).  What do I project?  What do I radiate?  What do they think matters to me?  Do they see passion? and if so for what?  Is it clear how much I love my family? Is it obvious that I am in love with Jesus?  As I thought about all this, one question came to mind.  Do people have more hope for this world because of the way I behave and treat them?  There are so many things in this world that can bring you down.  Poverty, disease, tragedy, broken relationships, disappointment, etc.  Yet amidst all of this, there are some people that when I am with them, I just have more hope.  I want to be like this.  Jesus is the hope of the world.  I know Him and I know that He is all about bringing hope to the darkness crevice in your life.  I want to exude and demonstrate a life of hope that moves others into a direction of big hope.
